We are pleased to present to you our new worship center, located at 501 Kingwood St in Brainerd, Minnesota.  God has blessed us with an opportunity to have a worship space we can call our own. 
The worship center was formerly a Christian Science worship center.  An aging congregation with diminishing membership led to the sale of the building. 
Pastor Paul Mattson, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crosby, MN, received an email from a Realtor that the building was for sale.  Not knowing why he received the email, he forwarded it to Pastor Jim Walth.  Pastor Walth received the email the day that the decision was made to close the Brainerd Hotel. 
Truth Lutheran Church had been meeting at the Brainerd Hotel for the past three years.  In approximately three weeks, congregational members and friends of the congregation raised nearly $30,000.00 for a down payment for the building.  The following week, financing was secured and we moved into our church home on November 20, 2013.
